The main purpose of this product is to filter impurities, dirt and foreign bodies, preventing them from clogging or damaging the devices that are installed downstream of the filter itself.

The most common application is plumbing in general. Attached to a check valve, it forms what is commonly referred to as a “foot valve”, normally indicated for water withdrawals in wells or reservoirs.
